Completed Fall 2008

Consultants:  Structural Engineer - Louis Shell Structures

Sustainable Highlights:  Adaptive re-use of existing building, decreased building footprint, added urban greenspace, energy efficient fixtures.

Like Rome, a city's character can be enhanced through historical layers of its built environment.  With this in mind, a three story tear-down was salvaged and made into a 32-unit small business incubator.  The historic limestone façade was stripped of paint and picture framed with contemporary rigid metal surround giving the building a contemporary face with a historical reference.
